The cup painted with the date 1813 in herbs below the inscription in gilt August 22. Gr. Beeren. 26. Katzbach. 30. Culm. September 6. Dennewitz. listing the battles leading up to the conflict at Leipzig on a pink ground, the interior of the cup and scroll handle richly gilt, the saucer printed with a map of Leipzig and its environs commemorating the battle of the nations and inscribed in black VOLKERSCHLACHT bei LEIPZIG am 18 u. 19 Oct., the pink-ground border with a continuous band of gilt scrollwork (extended firing crack to top of handle)
