A Berlin campana-shaped cabinet-cup and saucer
Circa 1805-10, underglaze blue sceptre and blue enamel dash marks, cup with impressed 29 /, saucer with incised 6 (?)
The gold ground cup reserved with two horizontal white bands, one with flowers, the other with oak leaves, the broad central gilt band chased and embossed with interlocking arches and leaves, the front painted with the youthful Hercules rising from his bed and strangling the two snakes within a rectangular gilt line cartouche with canted corners, the interior and handle richly gilt, the saucer with a similar broad gilt band between two bands of flowers and oak leaves (slight rubbing to well of saucer)
