Of octagonal pillar box form, the top with brass plate over the slot reading LETTERS to the outside and HALSTAFF & HANNAFORD MANUFACTURERS, 228 REGENT ST. LONDON, a door at the front with glazed paper insert giving times of collection, on an ogee moulded socle, the octagonal base with drawer, a further inscribed brass panel within -- 16½in. (41.8cm.) high
