A 20-BORE TURKISH FLINTLOCK HOLSTER PISTOL
Late 18th Century
With swamped barrel inlaid with silver scrollwork at the breech and with sighting flat, scroll engraved flat bevelled lock, full stock covered in gilt-metal panels decorated with pellets and scrollwork in relief, muzzle sleeve en suite (barrel band missing), gilt-metal mounts cast and chased in relief (gilding worn), and false ramrod, the butt bound with plaited white-metal wire (some surface rust)
