A similar fanghu bearing a Qianlong seal mark is illustrated by de Vasselot and Ballot, The Louvre Museum, Chinese Ceramics, Paris, 1922, pl. 35; and another unmarked example of slightly smaller size (12 in.) in the collection of W.T. Walters, is illustrated by S.W. Bushell, Oriental Ceramic Art, New York, 1980 reprint, col. pl. XLVI, where on p. 383 it is noted that the glaze under the foot is yellow.
