Circa 1880, to the inside with pseudo Sèvres mark
Thickly applied with gilt and painted in colours in the neorococo style, the dark blue ground reserved with a frontal scene depicting gallant aristocratic figures in 18th century attire resting in a garden, signed J. Lascot, the reverse with a dreamy landscape scene, the creamy-ground interior with bands of flowers, mounted with female bust handles and a scrolled upright border, the pedestal foot on a quadrupod plinth
