The square tile painted in bole-red, cobalt-blue and emerald-green within black outlines on a white ground, the centre with a floral medallion flanked by four inward-facing bold palmettes divided by smaller palmettes, similar part-motifs around the edges, minimal chipping

A tile from the same series is in the Sadberk Hanim Museum, Istanbul (Soustiel, Laure: Splendeurs de la ceramique ottomane, exhibition catalogue, Paris, 2000, no.39, p.82).
A tile of identical design, but which used turquoise where the present tile uses green, was sold at Sotheby's, 14 October 1999, lot 128.
