In the manner of James Cox, the glass panels in imitation of agate, applied with rocaille cagework enclosing birds and flowers, with white enamel inscription VOTRE AMITIE FAIT MA SEULE FELICITE, with gem-set pushpiece, the hinged cover opening to reveal an interior fitted with ivory writing tablet with gold rivet, two gold-mounted glass scent bottles, a gold-mounted pencil, spoon, gold and steel tweezers and pen knife, apparently unmarked, the tablet, spoon and pen knife with later Dutch control marks, with fitted case
