the rectangular box with arched lid and protruding edge, bronze swing handle, pieced mount above escutcheon, decorated overall with borders of trailing foliage below guillouche ornament, the front central panel adorned with winged griffen ornament flanked two opposing curling fish, interior with worn crimson silk lining, on ball feet -- 5½in. (14cm.) wide, 4in. (10cm.) high overall
