Two similar silver inlaid bronze globular censers
18/19th Century, Shisou marks to bases.
each with upright loop-handles, the first decorated with archaistic taotie masks and scrolling designs, the other with a mythical beast beside rockwork, on wood stands, one in a fitted silk-lined box -- 4½in. (11.4cm.) max. high; and another silver inlaid bronze censer of compressed form, with stylised dragon handles and on a spreading foot, decorated with archaistic taotie masks, Shisou mark to base, wood stand and in a fitted silk-lined brocade box -- 6 3/8in. (16.2cm.) wide, (minor losses to inlay).
