Two Chinese silver wire decorated bronze censers
18th Century
a rectangular bronze censer with twin angular handles, raised on short supports, with twin pierced slightly domed cover, hardstone finial, decorated with a comtinuous band of stylised key-fret, impressed sealmark to underside -- 4½in. (11.4cm.) wide; and a globular bronze censer with stylised dragon handles, with slightly flaring rim on cylindrical foot, decorated with taotie masks, carved and pierced wooden cover -- 4in. (10.2cm.) wide, wooden stand; (both with old wear and rubbing).
