Descriptif du lot

This group portrait was commissioned by Charles Cyril Dennis, the present owner's grandfather, and was painted at the family home, Oakley Hall, near Market Drayton, Shropshire. The artist was a regular visitor and painted other family members and their horses on several occasions.
