Traditionally painted with silver oklad decorated with multi-coloured cloisonné, enamelled flowers and foliage, the Saint holding a turquoise, blue and red enamelled book with engraved portrait of Saint Nicolas, further with blue Russian lettering, the raised repoussé oklad with floral, laural and corded bands
