The twin-train movement striking on the hours, with silvered dial engraved with an Earl's coronet above the letter 'S', enclosed by a mask engraved all-over with scrolling foliage, indistinctly signed C.F. Hancock, London, in rounded rectangular case, engraved all-over with scrolling foliage and surmounted by a pierced shaped pediment centred by a folding loop handle, the underside with swivelling support, the reverse with easel support and hinged flap inscribed C.F. Hancock, a Successor of Storr & Mortimer, by Appointment to H.M.The Queen Adelaide & H.I.M. the Emperor of Russia, 39 Bruton Stt, London, gilding and dial slightly rubbed, in original velvet-lined leather travelling case
