A green glazed composition shabti for the "General Ankh-wah-Ib-Re-sa-Neith, born of Ast-akhbit", with inscribed back pillar and eight horizontal lines of hieroglyphs at the front from Chapter VI of the Book of the Dead reading: "O thou shabti, if the Osiris the General Ankh-wah-ib-Re-sa-Neith, born of Ast-akhbit, justified, is summoned to do any work which is done there in the necropolis, exemption is made for him as a corvéeable man, Thou shalt cry 'Let me be assigned at any time, to plant the field, to water the dykes, to row the sand of west to east. I am here' you shall cry", repaired across legs, from Saqqara -- 7¼in. (18.4cm.) high, Dynasty XXVI, circa 570-526 B.C.
