A Luristan bronze sword, with ear-shaped pommel, the cylindrical hilt with hatched chevron design, rectangular guard with crescentic horns extending down over upper end of blade, the long tapering blade with broad midrib -- 35¾in. (90.8cm.) long; and another similar, the ear-shaped pommel with ribbed sides, and the four-sided hilt with a triple-banded collar -- 33in. (83.8cm.) long, both 1200-900 B.C. (2)
