(3.1cm.) across; a tinned bronze fibula in the form of a bird, with pierced and outstretched wings, decorated with concentric circles, neck and small head rising from the plate -- 1½in. (3.8cm.) long; a bronze fibula, of Hod Hill type, the arched bow with several ribs, circular hole in catch-plate -- 2½in. (6.3cm.) long, all 1st Century A.D.; and another of leaf-shaped form, with chain loop, remains of turquoise inlay surround central rosette -- 1¾in. (4.5cm.) long, circa 2nd Century A.D. (4)
