A Byzantine bronze steelyard weight, in the form of a bust of an empress, possibly Aelia Eudocia, with cloak draped around her, her right hand held to her chest, in her left hand she holds a scroll, loop for suspension above, with lead filling -- 3½in. (9cm.) high, 5th Century A.D.
