A group of Romano-Egyptian terracottas including a figure of Eros(?), standing, winged and wearing a Phrygian cap, a cloak falling over his left shoulder, holding in both hands a thrysus or torch with a bunch of grapes -- 5¼in. (13.3cm.) high; three other Eros figures -- 4 7/8in. (12.4cm.) high max.; a youth wearing a fluted conical cap, with his right hand raised -- 4½in. (11.4cm.) high; a bust of Dionysos, with curling locks falling on to his shoulders, his hair bound with an ivy fillet -- 4¼in. (10.8cm.) high; another similar -- 2 7/8in. (7.3cm.) high; and a flask in the form of a head of Dionysos, his beard modelled as a bunch of grapes, pierced for suspension at back -- 4½in. (11.5cm.) high, some damaged, all circa 1st Century B.C./A.D. (8)
