Two similar engraved rummers, the broad bucket bowl decorated with vignettes of ships in full sail within ears of barley, the reverse with the monograms SSD and WTH within oval beaded panels, the latter surmounted by a basket of fruit suspending swags of flowers, each lower section with stiff-leaf bands, on knopped stems and circular feet (slight wear), early 19th Century -- 5½in. high
