A sea green quilt divided into nine squares of white cotton, each embroidered in green and yellow silks with a water-lily like flower and two buds, the squares with diamond quilting, the blocks and border with twisted cable quilting--72in x 74in., early 20th century; and a Cake Stand quilt in printed cottons against a white ground, each 'stand' embroidered with a girl's name in coloured silks, the central one dated 1893, quilted with alternate squares of double diagonals and diamonds--60in x 63in.
