A William IV compressed moulded circular teapot on scrolling foliate feet, with a chased rising curved spout, floral and foliate-decorated scroll handle and domed hinged cover with finial modelled as a pigeon perched on a branch, the body and domed cover chased with flowers and foliage incorporating two cartouches, the latter probably erased - 5¾in., with a matching baluster cream jug - 5½in., Hayne & Cater, London 1836 - 33.50oz.
