A German porcelain oval-section snuff-box painted with scenes of figures in 18th Century dress at leisure in landscapes within scroll-moulded borders, the base painted with a lady attended by a gentleman and her chaperone (lacking cover, slight wear) with gilt-metal mount to the rim and with fitted gilt-metal four-legged stand, each leg to the stand cast with a winged caryatid (slight damages to stand) the porcelain mid 18th Century, Meissen or Fürstenberg, the mounts slightly later, the box -- 2½in. wide
