Two French faience blue and white tobacco jars with lion's mask handles, painted with oval panels inscribed TABAC DE ROBILLARD and TABAC DE ST OMER 2ME QUALITE, on ermine-lined drapery tied with tassels and surmounted by feathers, the handles enriched in blue (chip to one rim, flaking and glaze cracks), later metal covers, circa 1780, the jars -- 10 1/8in. high
