The Kino I was the Ernenann company's first camera designed for amateur use. It used a claw intermittent to drive a centre-perforated 17½mm. film making exposures 16 x 10mm.

A 17½mm. hand-cranked Kino I cinematographic camera stamped 99 with hand-crank, removable direct finder and rack and pinion focusing Kinostigmat lens, removable 'A' back, removable 'B' back, three film magazines numbered 1-3, nickel mounting plate, nickel film mounting accessories and gate and film crank, in maker's original box gilt-stamped 1903 Erster Staatspreiss.
