A collection of approximately 28 a.l.s. by artists and actors, including a 3pp. a.l.s. by Edward Poynter, dated 28 Albert Gate, S.W., March 19th, 1902, to Mr. Weigall, casting doubt on an attribution: "There was some doubt expressed to it being by Northcote himself. Have you any authority beyond tradition for the attribution? The work looks almost too good for him;" also included are a.l.s. are by Sir Frederic Leighton, John Everett Millais, Henry Irving, George Watts and Edwin Long; and the clipped signature of Ellen Terry.
