A late Victorian carved oak sideboard, the mirrored and shelved superstructure surmounted by an acanthus-carved pediment supported by fluted and acanthus-carved pillars, the moulded rectangular base fitted with two short and one long drawer, above a pair of panelled cupboard doors and flanked by a cellarette cupboard to one side and a shelved cupboard to the other, on rectangular moulded base and bun supports, bearing a label inscribed Heaton, Tait & Co., 8 Dixon Street, Glasgow, 89½in. (227cm) wide
