A Louis XVI white marble mantel clock, the drum shaped movement supported on gilt metal applied columns, the case with foliate cut ormolu mounts, surmounted by a figure of the transmogrified Zeus, as an eagle, with thunderbolt, flanked by urns of foliage, the white enamel dial with Arabic chapter ring, the twin train movement with bell strike, the bell missing, the breakfront platform with foliate pierced panels on toupé feet -- 20¾in. (52½cm.) high.
