Richard Westmacott, the Younger, R. A., (1799 to 1872), was the eldest son of his more famous father, also named Richard. Although his output was not nearly as prolific as that of his father, who had studied under Canova in 1793, he was nevertheless responsible for a number of busts, reliefs and monuments during the second quarter of the 19th century.
