PROPERTY FROM THE COLLECTION OF CHUCK JONES AND WARNER BROS. STUDIOS I have been remarkably lucky to have been able to make a reasonably good living doing what I love: drawing, painting and writing. I began the process of directing my first film in 1937, sixty years ago! That's close to 22,000 days and there probably hasn't been more than a handful in which I haven't drawn or written something. Many in which I have been immersed for most of my waking hours. I have discovered and uncovered characterisitcs about myself through the process of reading, writing, drawing, painting, loving, and, oddly enough, staying awake to the oddities of life. There is something quite wonderful about the exploring, the digging around, the endlesss discovery out of which springs what is often called creativity. I can't, won't, get enough of it.....ever! I'm sorry, but I don't have time to be old. Chuck Jones (on the occasion of his 85th birthday) Each lot is sold with a letter of authencity from Linda Jones Enterprises.
