Baron Heinrich von Geymuller was an architect, art historian and noted collector of Renaissance drawings. His most famous work in collaboration with Stegmann was Die Architektur der Renaissance in Toskana, 11 vol., 1885-1909. In 1885 he acquired from the family of Count Campello a collection of 260 designs of Italian Renaissance architecture. The collection previously belonged to the Gaddi family in Florence, and is now known as 'Racotta Geymuller - Campello' and is now in the Uffizzi, Florence
