A DRAFT ORDER FOR THE ARMéE D'ITALIE

Less than a year before his own death at the guillotine (which ended the Reign of Terror) Robespierre summons a citizen into service on behalf of the National Convention of the Meridional Departments and the Armée d'Italie: "Requiring that Citizen Boissonee the younger reports immediately to Nice for the service of the Republic by joining the Engineers Corps of the Armée d'Italie. Nice, 27 rbre 2e Rep. (1793)." Signed as representative of the People to the Armée d'Italie.
