Note: This design was submitted by De La Rue to the Crown Agents on 13 September 1901, following the notification by the Colonial Secretary, Antigua, that it was proposed to have separate stamp issues for Antigua, Dominica and Montserrat. The design was approved for all Dominica denominations except for the 5/-.
