A PAIR OF DERBY CANDLESTICK FIGURES modelled as scantily draped figures of Cupid, one drawing his bow, the other pointing to a red heart, kneeling beside flower-encrusted tree-stumps supporting foliage-moulded vase-shaped nozzles and wax-pans, a quiver of arrows lying on the three-footed scroll-moulded bases enriched in turquoise and with gilding (both nozzles re-fixed to tree-stumps, minor restorations to underside of wax-pans, some chipping to wax-pans, flowers and foliage), Wm.
