A BOW CANDLESTICK-GROUP modelled as a figure of Cupid scantily draped and garlanded with flowers, kneeling before a flowering tree looking up at a nesting bird, a recumbent hound and flaming torch at his feet, the four-footed pierced scroll-moulded base enriched in pink, turquoise and with gilding (left wing and hand with two fingers lacking, damages to tree and nozzle lacking, chips to flowers and foliage), iron-red anchor and dagger mark, circa 1770
