These stools are of the same model as a set of eight that were sold from the collection of Sir John FitzGerald, Bt., M.C., Knight of Kerry, in these Rooms in two sets of four (8 December 1949, lot 101, and 24 November 1955, lot 43). Another stool, possibly from those eight, was sold anonymously, in these Rooms, 7 December 1989, lot 115
