A MEISSEN PAIR OF PARROTS modelled by J.J. Kändler, with green bodies and red wing and tail feathers, perched to left and right on tree-stump bases partially coloured in brown and applied with turquoise leaves (the bird turned to its right with tip of left wing and one claw on left foot lacking and slight chip to claw on right foot, the other with chip to one tail feather and two minor flakes to green enamels, both with chips to leaves), both with Pressnummern 26, circa 1745
