A STAFFORDSHIRE DARK-BROWNWARE CYLINDRICAL TEAPOT AND COVER, the sides applied in dark-brown with dragons between borders of pendant flower-sprays on a buff slip ground, with dark-brown shoulder and spout and handle in imitation of bamboo, the cover applied with a bird in flight and a trailing flower-spray issuing from a flat knob finial (crack to side, chips to rim of spout and inner rim of cover), impressed mock Oriental mark, circa 1765
