Air Mail cover 1961 (21 Dec.) airmail XU5 (complete with Christmas card) from Athens to Cyprus and recovered from the wreck of the Comet IV-B which crashed and exploded on the groud at Ankara, somewhat damaged and showing a fine "SALVAGED MAIL/AIRCRAFT ACCIDENT", subsequently sealed by two pieces of "Found open or damaged and officially secured." tape, one cancelled by Nicosia c.d.s.for 3 January 1962.
