Although the form of the bracelet and the type of fastening are typical of Jaipur work of the eighteenth and nineteenth century, a type that still continues to be made today, the pink enamelled flowers on green ground typify a group of items which are though to have been made in Benares. A bottle with similar enamelling was in these rooms, 11 June 1986 lot 228
