A KHORASSAN BRASS DISH with fluted sides and flat rim, the centre with an eight-petalled repoussé rosette surrounded by an engraved band of spiralling vine around animals in chase including rabbits, dogs and foxes, between arcaded bands, in a border of cartouches containing naskh benedictory inscriptions alternating with floral roundels, the rim with similar kufic inscription panels and roundels, early 13th century (repaired, slight corrosion)
