manuscript on vellum, 126 ff, each with 17ll. of early black kufic, vowel markings in red, letter pointing from a later date in black, roundels and occasional squares between verses, sura headings in brown kufic of a similar size to text, occasional later marginal notes in black, (folio edges frayed, 6 folios replaced by paper and heavily stained with black ink)
