manuscript on ivory, buff or green paper, sixteen panels, most with a single line of strong black nasta'liq within clouds of gold painted floral sprays, on gold and polychrome floral ground, some with complex arrangemets of nasta'liq or shikasteh similarly within clouds, the coloured borders with gold flowering vine, red and gold margins between black and blue rules, on purple, black, green or cream leaf with red outer margin, (some water-marking), green morocco binding (minor wear)
