A DUTCH WALNUT MARQUETRY ARMOIRE inlaid overall with trailing foliate, the stepped cavetto cornice centred by a carved walnut cartouche surmounted by a seraphum and flanked by a pair of putti over a grotesque lion-mask with corresponding lion-masks to the angles, above a pair of panelled doors inlaid with a still-life of flowers and an urn on a parquetry ground, enclosing a pair of adjustable shelves, divided by applied walnut swags of vine leaves and other flowers, the sides similarly inlaid with a still-life of flowers in an urn flanked by a pair of birds, on a plinth base with a long drawer simulated as two drawers, on later turned bun feet, early 19th Century incorporating earlier elements
