Fuchs with a nymph wearing a diaphanous robe attended by playful cherubs among misty foliage, the reverse with water gushing from a fountain carved as a triton blowing a horn, and a maiden and shells, the ground enriched in elaborate gilding, mounted with a berried foliage finial, bands around the rim and lower body, two female caryatid handles with elaborate leaf terminals, raised on four scroll and paw supports and a footed square base cast with drapery, artist's signature, cover with imitation blue interlaced L mark and France in iron-red, incised 22, circa 1900
