Oval and on four shell and scroll feet, the sides pierced with shells, scrolls and latticework, with cast shell, scroll and gadrooned rim, the swing handle cast and chased with shells and scrolls, the centre engraved with a rococo cartouche of foliage, trident, fasces and shells, and later with a coat-of-arms, marked on the base, the handle unmarked, the base engraved with scratchweight 60=10
