Oblong and on four scroll and paw feet, the gallery sides pierced with foliate scrolls and with waved beaded rim, fitted with two plain bottle holders and two silver-mounted cut-glass inkpots, each with octafoil hinged cover, the centre engraved with a coat-of-arms within foliate scrolls, marked on stand, bottle holders, bottle mounts and the covers, the base stamped 'Walker & Hall Sheffield England'
