Circa 1810, the plate inscribed Capt. Lewes, Duffryn-House. in gilt
Painted by Thomas Pardoe with flowers, birds, landscapes and a shell within shaped oval cartouches divided by gilt foliage between gilt-line rims (slight rubbing to gilding of handle and rims, the saucer-dish with slight star-crack to centre)
The milk-jug 4¾in. (12cm.) high, the saucer-dish 8½in. (21.5cm.) diam. (2)
