Circa 1765, gold anchor marks
The first modelled as two foxes at play before fruiting vine and flowers, the second as a hound attacking a fox before a flowering tree with a cat in its branches, on elaborate flower-encrusted gilt scroll-moulded bases each with a ribbon cartouche painted with insects, the trees supporting pierced gilt foliate nozzles and hexagonal drip-pans (the vine candlestick with some chipping to flowers and foliage and tip of right hand fox's brush lacking, some chipping to flowers and foliage of second candlestick)
