Designed by Jean-Auguste Dampt, circa 1900
The superstructure with small upper shelf divided into compartments supported on carved brackets flanked by two small cupboards, the kidney shaped writing surface inset with original leather, the lower portion with two recessed drawers, finely chased gilt bronze foliate handles, the whole carved with pine cone motifs and applied with cast floral and foliate mounts detailed in blue enamel
